Privacy Policy

Sparkx ("we", "us") operates this shopping platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow the (Indian) Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What we collect

Account details — name, email, phone number and password (stored encrypted), collected when you register.
Addresses & PIN codes — to check delivery serviceability and fulfil orders.
Order history — items, amounts, delivery and return status, SparkCoins earned.
Social login — if you sign in with Google or Facebook we receive your name and email from them; we never see your social-account password.
Technical data — session cookies needed for login, cart and security (CSRF). We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

2. Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card/UPI details go directly to Razorpay and are never stored on our servers. Cash on Delivery involves no payment data at all.

3. WhatsApp inquiries

Some shop products offer a "Chat on WhatsApp" button. Tapping it opens WhatsApp and shares your message with the shop directly; that conversation happens outside our platform and is governed by WhatsApp's terms and the shop's own practices. We record only that the button was clicked, not the conversation.

4. "View in your room" (AR)

The 3D/AR viewer runs entirely on your device. Your camera feed is never uploaded to us — the only network request is your phone downloading the product's 3D model file.

5. How we use your data

To create and manage your account, deliver orders and process returns.
To send transactional emails (verification, order updates). We do not send marketing emails without consent.
To prevent fraud and abuse (rate limiting, bot protection).

6. Sharing

We share data only with: delivery partners (name, address, phone — to deliver your order), Razorpay (payment processing), the shop fulfilling your Minutes order (items and delivery details), and authorities when legally required. We never sell your personal data.

7. Retention & your rights

Account data is kept while your account is active. Order records are retained as required by tax law. You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by writing to support@sparkx.shop; deletion requests are honoured except where records must be kept by law.

8. Grievance officer

For privacy concerns contact our grievance officer at support@sparkx.shop. We aim to respond within 7 working days.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date.
